About This Video:
Creator: Alex Payne
The infra-stove measures the temperature of food products while cooking using infrared sensors located in the vent hood above the stove. If the food temperature gets above a predefined level, the stove automatically turns the heat down. The product uses an infrared thermometer so you don’t have to worry about undercooked or overcooked food. The user puts in desired temperature, when this temperature is reached, the stove does the desired action: turn off, maintain for x amount of time, etc. Also, a small screen displays the temperature and shows the actions of each burner.
