My idea is a smart mirror that will help women find clothing that fits them in an eCommerce world. The mirror would allow women to virtually try on clothing from a store's website in the comfort of their own homes. Mirror Vision will help them find the correct size and can even make recommendations based off of body type. Currently when you buy clothing online you stare at a 2-D image and have to read through a list of measurements to find your correct size. Even then you might order two or three sizes to find the best fit and have to return the rest. Mirror Vision would help eliminate this step.

Over 76,000 gallons of oil are spilled each year due to pipeline equipment failure. Seals, the heart of many large turbomachines, are particularly important elements to consider. TOBOR solves this problem by integrating sensing into the seal. Our proprietary, 3-D printable filament, FilaSet, is 1.5x the ultimate strength and 2x the maximum operational temperature of current filaments on the market, has excellent wear-resistance, and is a sustainable material. Fabricating a seal face using our material and embedding the needed sensing will facilitate real-time condition monitoring of the seal. This allows for the prediction of leakage and failure and wear patterns.

The Wireless Internet of Things for SensorTag (WITS) Platform is an easy to use Internet of Things electronic device. It will allow for a consumer to collect information from up to nine sensors through an integrated Texas Instrument's SensorTag. This information can be accessed through an internet browser based user interface. Not only can it collect data, but it can uniquely allow for control commands to be executed through the same user-friendly interface. This system is going to be implemented on to the Digital Systems Teaching and Research robot produced for MISL Labs to create a potential robotic system for unmanned lunar exploration.

Bioom is a tasteless and textureless powder made of a new patent-pending genus of probiotic bacteria. Bioom works via a novel mode of action that is different from probiotics in the market. In vivo trials show that it reduces enteric methanogenesis, pathogen load, and nitrogen excretion, thereby eliminating the gases that are positively correlated with gut problems including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). This is possible for the first time because nearly everyone in developing countries now has a cell phone and companies are investing more than ever in social compliance.
